The peaceful and secluded atmosphere of the Quarry of the Prows, one of the most hidden quarries in the old part of S´Hostal, led to the creation of a garden that would evoke stillness and retreat from the world, typical of a medieval cloister.
Separated from the outside world by the old stone walls in the quarry, the human soul and all the senses are symbolized by the different elements of this garden. All around a central stone fountain surrounded by fragrant ancient roses there lie four beds of medicinal herbs and two areas for aromatic plants and plants used for cooking, as well as a vegetable garden.
